An image taken at a wildlife habitat in Canada. This is from a scanned slide. Comments appreciated. Chet

Beautiful! I love the pose from the lynx. Great composition, too. I would love to photograph a lynx in the wild one day!

I find the beauty of lynx just awe inspiring, this one is particularly handsome. I like the way he seems to be emerging from his dark grotto into the light. Nice job getting the main focus right on the face. Well done.

Hey Chet,
Very sweet image - hard to dislike any aspect of this! From a compositional perspective I have no nits. My only suggestions on this one pertain to noise introduced during scanning - on the larger version there seems to be a BIT of colour noise (or a slight colour cast) on the foreground snow, along with a bit of luminosity noise. I think you MIGHT be able to hammer this into submission a little more with a little selective noise reduction (but hard to say for sure without seeing the original).
You say this was taken "...at a wildlife habitat in Canada." As a Canuck myself and one who lives within an area where these guys are found (and without a single wild one in my collection) I know how hard it is to photograph wild lynxes. Regardless of where this image was shot I totally appreciate it - but my appreciation would grow even more if it was a wild lynx - does "at a wildlife habitat" mean captive?
Cheers...
Brad

Brad , I completely agree that a wild lynx would be worlds better. Thanks for your comments. Chet
