They go from all sugar and sweetness one moment, to you feel as though you are raising a little gangster the next !! ;)

Summer is at an end here as the kids head back to school this week , so thought I'd grab a few more portraits of them they get swept up in the back to school rush ! :biggrin:

Interesting. I grew up with snakes and snails and puppy dog tails. Must be a Canadian thing. :biggrin: I like the perspective and the color wash very much. :smile:

There are a few versions of the poem that use snakes, slugs or eels , Snips is the one I grew up with is probably “small pieces of things,” perhaps odds and ends the sort collected by small boys such as rocks and bits of string in his pockets and the likes.

I know as the main laundry person in our house my sons pockets tend to be full of mysterious things. Sometimes I am leery to put my hands in them to check before they go in the laundry !!

I love that mischievous look. Nice color and a good composition.

You've got quite a an interesting portfolio of these portraits going.
