This is an in camera multiple exposure (3 frames). After each exposure I rotated the camera about 20 degrees.

If the flora mods think this belongs in Photo Art, that's fine. I just put it here since it has very little post processing. Pretty much out of the camera. A bit of burning around the flower.

Interested to hear thoughts. Just decided to try something a little different.

Canon 5D Mark III
3 frames each at 1/40, f/8, ISO 400
100mm Macro

Larger version included.

I like how this turned out. Nice contrasting colors. It's nice to see how people use their imagination and create something different.

Keith: I generally only move an image if it is substantially digitally manipulated to get to the final result and this was not so we'll keep it. Plus I'm pretty possessive of exceptional images. Great concept superbly executed.>=))>

I like the effect and hopefully will see more produced the same way.

Keith, I've seen stranger things in Flora! Fairly imaginative! I like not only the rotating flower, but the rotating highlights/shadows in the background.

Keith - An effect I always wanted to create but keep forgetting when in the field :frown: .

Lovely take - like the implied sense of a turning wheel there. I also like how the stem has resulted in the criss-cross at the bottom.
