In Nova Scotia we found wonderful day lily gardens and this is one of their specimens. Taken with Canon Powershot SX50, F/4 at 22mm, 400 ISO.

Patricia - Great lighting and details !! along with a terrific DOF. The maroon and yellows make for an excellent combination.

If possible revisit the lower right corner where a little bit of the background is showing.

Lovely to see you posting on Flora again, Patricia ! Great sharpness with rich textures all round, and a composition which brings out the beauty of this flower perfectly in my view.

No nits from me. The small amount of BG in the LRC doesn't bother me. Good color and detail!
