Hummer with flower

Took this in mid-afternoon in central Illinois. I had taken several shots of this hummer as it returned to the dead flower. By moving just a bit I was able to bring the yellow flower into the space, not sure if it added or distracts.

Canon PS SX50
1/640 @ F-6.5 ISO 200
Canon 4.3-215 @ 215mm HH

I really like this John, it's quite the contrast with the dead flower perch and the bright yellow one in the bg. I would include a little more space left and right if you have it in the original. :toast:

Great shot John of this female,
I have never seen one perch on a flower before only tree limbs and fence wire.
Well done . . . :toast:

The dried flower head is a terrific perch for your hummer. I'm ok with the flower in the bg, but that one bright hot yellow spot is a little distracting. Nice catchlight in the eye. Sharon
