Hood Mockingbirds

Hood Mockingbirds on the Galapagos Islands are very aggressive birds. They seem to form teams and then fight each other, so I liked this particular image which shows a fight as well as a bird on each "team" watching the fight.

I am especially curious of what you think of my crop choice. I tried many different crops (removing the green top, removing the left rock, removing the right bird, etc.), but in the end decided I liked the image showing the entire scene. What do you think?

It is important to look at the LARGER PHOTO for this panoramic image.

Critiques and comments are welcome and appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Great action well captured, they are really going at it! I'm ok with the crop you chose, however when I remove the green at the top I find that the action appears stronger, so I would support cropping from the top but I would then add a little more at the bottom to avoid too extreme a pano.

Nice, Carol. I like your choice of crop. To my eye it looks more like a referee and a bystander than teams, but either one is probably pretty anthropomorphic

Agree that a closer crop would enhance this interesting image.
