Nice overlook to take all this scenery in from this high vantage point, Paul. Nice colors and composition overall. I might try a slight crop from the bottom to drop off the protruding rock in the LLHC. But that is totally optional of course. Regardless, nice work on this capture showing a couple of boats out in the distance enjoying this fine waterway too....

Nice shot! The river provides an interesting leading line through the valley, and I like the placement of the rock in the foreground.

I really like the composition - the river leads my eyes through the frame well. The colors are also nice. The big expanse of sky detracts from the image IMHO. I would agree with Paul's crop suggestion on the bottom, and would also suggest cropping out the sky entirely or nearly so, leaving just a view of the beautiful foliage and the winding river.

Thanks to all for comments. Paul & Angela: interestingly I have another image from this shoot with almost no sky, I might crop that slightly to remove the sky and rock. I picked the one I did because to me it had more of an "Over the Edge" feel, fitting with the weekly theme.
