I like this image a lot, Eva. Strong lines and shapes and the contrasting colors are very nice. Well seen! Chet

I love the patterns in this, Eva, and the almost yin-yang between the darks and the lights. Just for grins, you might want to deepen the darks just a smidge, and maybe bring the highs up just a tad. It's not really flat, but I think you could capitalize on the yin-yang aspect of the comp. The detail is amazing--viewing the large version is a must.

Interesting how a solid object can mirror a liquid one. Reminds me of swirling water. Nicely seen and captured detail.

Wonderful Eva! Excellent patterns and flow to this one. I really like the mix of light/warm and gray tones. I think this fits the "Golden mean" of composition perfectly.

I don't know why this always happens, but with so many of your closeups, rocks, patterns etc., I always want to rotate or flip them. I like this as a vertical, rotating 1 turn ccw. no biggie, this works beautifully as presented.

So much of interest here, looks like a topo map. Old wood has so much character and you've caught it nicely

fascinating detail in the large version, Eva. could see a tiny bit more contrast to bring out the opposing nature of the black and white...
I had the same thought as Lon, rotating this ccw into a vertical position makes it seem more dynamic to me

The color and texture are really nice and the various swirling patterns create interest around the frame. The two thick shadows in the upper left pull me in that direction a bit but I don't see any crop that would improve the frame. This is a neat find.
