Texas ranches tend to have wrought iron art placed over the entrance &/or on the gate to the ranch. Here was a nice one near Bandera caught just before sunset. You can see, that the clouds are just barely turning pink.

Very creative way to shoot these beautiful works of art, Lucy. I like the way the sky provides a very natural looking background. One could almost believe these creatures where real. . .except they would not all be posing so nicely together within a black frame. :biggrin: I like your framing choice but I think I would clone out the lines visible across the base. IMO they distract from the main part of the image. Great way to document and share these wrought iron works of art with others. :smile:

That's a very cool sculpture and your silhouette shot of it works extremely well. The clouds even add a little reality to the scene. Nice concept and well executed!

Very well seen, Lucy. The silhouettes stand out well against that lovely blue sky and the clouds add a nice, subtle touch of interest.

Very nicely seen Lucy. The clouds do add to the overall feel and I really like the number of elements to explore visually in what is essentially a very simple image (as the silhouette has no tones or other dimensions). Sometimes less is more and this is a great example of that.
