Sleeping Sea Lion

This sea lion is lying on a bed of carpetweed somewhere in the Galapagos Islands. This image makes me smile and I like it when that happens.

Critiques and comments are very welcome and appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Love the grin on it's face. It made me smile, too. Well done with good composition and sharp focus where it needs to be.

Before I opened this image, I wasn't sure it would be anything special, but I really like it. The colors are great, the composition, the dof and detail are very good. But the look on the face of the Sea Lion is what makes the image.

Easy to anthropomorphise with a wonderful expression like that. The textured red carpet of rock weed adds a lot to the beauty of your photo. Just outstanding in my opinion Carol.
