Taken at Hawk Mountain this morning. Not great conditions early as there was a lot of mist. Caught this as it came out of the mist into the sun.It is not the sharpest picture with the mist. but i thought the back lighting really brings the picture out.

Canon 7D, 400mm, f9, 1/1600 sec, ISO 200, hand held.

Interesting backlit image, Neven. I like the concept. I might crop to decenter the bird a bitI kind of like the light in the lower right, so my inclination would be to take some off the top and left.
