Today is the Autumnal Equinox, so...Happy first day of Fall, everyone!Thank you for your comments on my recent images.

This was made one Autumn day a few years ago and recently reprocessed. I was drawn to the way the leaves sort of cascade down the limestone boulder.

Really like the flow of yellow birch leaves against the dark limestone bolder, it definitely carries the mood of autumn, and I hope it sticks around for a long time. Beautifully done Preston.

Really like the color and general composition with the cascading leaves on this one, Preston. Makes for an excellent fall opening capture for the now present season upon us already.
The OOF area works as is with the predominantly like leaves in the cascade. A bit of a perspective of an origination point so to speak. I could also see some cropping arrangements to eliminate it too. I'd have say it works either way depending upon ones mind set when viewing the scene.

Great title, because this looks exactly like what it describes! Really like that impression, as well as the color and textural contrasts this has. Beautiful autumn image.

This is a very nice image, Preston. Besides a cool composition, the processing looks great and the autumn colors stoke our own photographic ambitions for the coming fall season. Anyway I like this alot. HAPPY AUTUMN to you as well. may it be productive and serene. Chet

Another beautifully elegant slice of life. Really like to hue of the leaves, rich but not overdone.

The autumn leaves do have a wonderful flow to them as they cascade over the rock, Preston. Certainly helps put one in the mood for the upcoming fall season. Happy Autumnal Equinox to you also. I could also see this working with a crop of the OOF leaves in the URC. Either way this is beautifully done.
