Dunquin Pier

Another shot from our summer trip to Ireland.
This is Dunquin Pier, Dingle Peninsula, Kerry Co.
This small pier is an important historic place as this is the landing place for the boats coming from Blasket Island.
This is not a very original POV on the road to the pier, so we decided to go for the long exposure.

Large versione provided.
Thanks for your comments and suggestions.

Cool area to photograph.... But, the long exposure IMO ruined the shot...by blurring the boats on both the right and on the left of the cliffs. a little light play might, also, enhance the beauty of the shot.

This reminds me of my trips to Scotland. I might br tempted to clone out the boats on the left and right. I agree with Lucy on that point but the rest looks great.

Thank you for your comments.
I have to say that I don't agree with your opinion on the blured boats. I think that those are important elements to create a contrast between the different parts of the composition: the "fronzen" sea and the moving boats; the ancient and firm pier and the modern and moving boats.
This was our feeling. Moreover I wuld never clone such big parts of a picture.

A very pretty scene, but I have to agree that the blurred boats are not a good element. Apparently we are not seeing what you envisioned this scene to be.
