My daughter showing a cicada accidentally entered inside the house resting on the door screen to her brother. Cicadas live in 17-year cycles having 2013 be the 17th year the adults come out.

Precious! The expression on the little brother's face is priceless. The view through the screen is different, but I kind of like it. It is a bit of a distraction; yet at the same time, it is an essential part of the story.

While your daughter looks enthralled with this interesting critter her little brother doesn't look nearly as fascinated. He seems uncertain what this strange bug might do next. Not sure I would have wanted to handle this bug when I was her age! Looks like a budding naturalist here.
