I found this monster lurking by my back door. Seems like early fall is when these guys are at their best. Olympus OM-D, Olympus 50-200 2.8/3.5 with Nikon 6T close up lens. F11, 1/80 ISO 1000. 75% of full frame. Thanks for your comments.

A great find, Steve, and a really good spider image for your portfolio. Excellent job of isolating the spider and web and getting everything sharp against the nice clean bg. No nits whatsoever. :toast:

Pretty scary looking arachnid, Steve. I see your shooting a lot with the OM-D. I have one myself but have rarely used it.

Very good details and DOF Steve. Great LP view of this large Golden Orb Weaver.
Nicely lit also, well done! :toast:

Excellent capture, Steve - fine detail and a really effective show of the web on the light bg. Might just place the signature a little lower.

The sharpness here is outstanding. That's one neat looking spider. Very well done.
