Above Glen Ellis Falls, near Pinkaham Notch, New Hampshire

Another autumn waterfall scene in New Hampshire. Kind of non-descript but I loved the yellow color against the water on this cloudy day.

Canon 5DM2
Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L at 70mm
ISO200 1/15sec f/11

Thanks for looking.

Beuatiful! The lines/patterns, colours and contrast are beautiful. I also like your choice of exposure time. The water is smooth but not silky. There is still some structure. I like that in waterfalls (personal of course). The only thing I was wondering was how the photo would have looked when you had taken it a bit to the right (if possible).

Nice juxtaposition here, Eva. My suggestion would be to look to crop a bit off the top since the ULC is a little soft. Gorgeous soft light and very natural but strong fall color.

Any delicate foliage such as this one near a waterfall would seem to be very difficult to catch without leaf motion. However, amazingly it looks very static throughout. Wonderful colors and composition for a fall type scene, Eva. Very nice indeed.

Thanks all. Here is a cropped version eliminating the soft branches in the upper left.

The repost looks good...great, I mean! Nice contrast between the intense gold and the flowing water. I like the shutter speed as well...

the golden leaves really pop against the gloom of the bg. Feels very fall-ish.

Eva, especially the second version works wonderfully for me. I enjoy the mighty fall complemented by the delicate foliage.

Very cool shot Eva. The juxtaposition works well. The color is to die for. :toast:

I do think there is a little tension in the image due to the leaves blocking the waterfall. Tension is not always bad though!
