This image was made last week at the Baltimore Aqarium, when I had a break from a meeting. Obviously not in a natural setting. It's a fairly straightforward B&W conversion in Nik SEP. I started with one of the sepia presets, and added some film grain because I felt it enhanced the contrast in a pleasing way. C&C appreciated. Large image posted.

Absolutely gorgeous :toast: :toast: Excellent capture and processing of this beautiful, but wicked medusa

The semi-transparency and structure of the bell are outstanding! :toast: Looks similar to a satin, antique ladies cap worn to bed Just glad you weren't in there. I'll bet, there are nematocysts floating silently all around.

Beautiful! The b&w treatment and toning make it look much more mysterious and ghostly. Excellent work.

Outstanding image Matthew, congrats on the EP. Nice choice with the B&W conversion I think it helps highlight the anatomy really well.
