West Fork Color

Hiked through West Fork of Oak Creek yesterday and boy is the color showing. There is still a lot of green that has not turned yet so next week will probably be peak. Not a fantastic comp here- my thoughts are that is is quite busy, and the out of focus spots don't help. Anyway- enjoy the color.

Great light and color Bob. It is quite busy and does not give the eye a place to rest. If I might suggest a crop I would go vertical with the right portion eliminating the out of focus parts and set the right tree on the left thirds of the vertical. This would give the eye a strong anchor while providing great vivid color and good soft but bright lighting.

Bob, Its good to see the color is in full force! I was thinking about heading up there this weekend. Was the West Fork Parking lot open or did you have to park on the road and hike in?
