Where's Waldo

Don't you just hate feeling rushed when photographing? I was trying to photograph the falls at Starvation Creek when this guy crawled into the foreground. I only had 23 minutes to get the shot.

Nikon D80
Nikon 12.0-24.0 mm f/4.0 at 19 mm
2.0 & 6.0 sec at f/16 and ISO 100
Blend of two photos for DOF, water texture, and to reduce motion blur from the slug.

Very neat image with some great colours. Although the slug is small in the frame, it does not go unnoticed.

I like this one as much for the entertainment value as for the beautiful composition. The colors are rich and vibrant and the water is splendid. Nice work

Even if you were there for 20 minutes, the twit had no business getting between you and the scene....bad manners. This is a great detailed view of this little step falls. I really like the contrast between the bright green ferns and the warm leaves. The silked out water pulls those two elements together very nicely. The slug is a neat, environmental addition.

superb image. the only thing that i might look for is a little more saturation/colour in the leaf in the top left as this would balance the colours across the image. otherwise i'm liking this.

HAHA! Funny John. Nice shot love the comp, colors are prefect.....a nice blend.A lot to look at for such an intimate image. I might have tried polarizing the rock on the upper left a little more if possible. Not too much though, I like a little sheen.

Very, very nice John. Vibrant colors, not a complex jumble of elements, and the slower ss still elicits a sense of water motion through the nice comp.
