Kgalagadi magic :-)
This september was really quiet in Kgalagadi (i want to sound optimistic - almost no animals). But we still got some great shots as you can always get there. One of them was this fight of springboks, on dusty area.
It was almost too close for 500mm lens but when driving to them i could not change cameras and I knew that the fight will be over in a second. Still manage to get some full frames of nicely positioned animals.
Nikon D700, AFS 500mm f/4,0, ISO 280, F/5,6 and 1/640s . Crop 2-3% on right edge and bottom.

Regards, Gorazd

Great action here Gorazd, and love the dust. 5 more weeks until I hit the Kgalagadi! I heard the predators have now started to return from the Botswana side...

Really well captured and well composed. Very sharp. The dust really adds to the image.

You were in an excellent position to capture the sparring action. I really like the low pov and the dust being kicked up in the air. I don't think this is too tight at all.

I really enjoy the action, the backlighting on the dust and the springboks and the precision of your exposure. If this is a crop, I think a little more space both sides would present well.
