Chesapeake sunset

In Rock Hall, MD a favorite activity is watching the sunset over the Chesapeake Bay. Some of the best color comes after the sun is below the horizon. I liked the silhouette of this tree backed by the beautiful colors of the sunset. Not sure if this combo works for others. Comments welcomed.

Canon 60D. 27mm at F/11 for 1/50 sec. ISO 640.

The tree silhouette works perfectly to anchor the sunset and mimic the angle of the clouds, IMO. Excellent!

Gorgeous sunset scene. Carolyn. The composition works perfectly, but, the colors are the immediate draw to this one IMO. Very well captured scene.

Perfect use of the dark tree - really highlights the sky. Intense sunset.

Lovely colors and a fine tree silhouette. I would like a bit more space between the heavy trunk on the right and the frame, but that may not have been possible.
