Reflective Morning

Spent last week in western New York and was able to get over to the Adirondacks for a couple of days. Missed peak color by a week or two and had mostly rainy and foggy weather but really enjoyed the area. My first visit there. This image is from the village of Saranac Lake.

The colors and reflection are wonderful. The gray sky is a significant distraction, it's reflection much less so. I hope you have a zoomed in image of that house, surrounding trees, and reflection with minimal sky. I learned that the hard way in the 80's during a 3 day fall colors tour of Vermont.

Howard, I did not. Traveled light on this trip and did not bring a tripod. Maybe next year.
