I didn't spend a whole lot of time at the Wave proper when I was there earlier this month. It was just after the govt shutdown and I believe there were actually quite a few who went there because they didn't expect enforcing of permits. So the wave area itself had quite a few hikers milling around, but working around them I enjoyed playing with different comps on this south side. Interesting how the lines change so much with just a slight repositioning of the camera.

This is a 5-image focus stack. I'm happy with the comp but am looking for feedback on the processing. I feel like I just fiddle with adjustments until it looks good to me, but am still learning. Thanks for looking!

I really like this Jared. The sweeps and curves hold my attention for a long while. The saturation amount feels just right.

Beautiful lines and color in this desert scene, Jared. Having to look for alternate comps because of the hikers worked in your favor.

This image has a very natural feel that is appealing to me. So many images from this area try too hard for the dramatic but this speaks quietly. :cool:
