Maples (with other mixed hardwoods), Mill Creek MetroParks, Youngstown. D600, nikon 14-24 @ 14, polarizer. Sorry for the small size but I had to save this at only 60 as is. The original is tack sharp and full of detail. Thanks for looking. Comments, questions and suggestions welcome. :wavey:

May not be totally original, but it's totally appropriate, totally effective, and totally beautiful.
Don't know how often I thought of taking shots like this one this year, but I was always to busy trying to keep going to get to the tops of the mountains by sunrise or sunset. (Besides, I like to lie down on the ground for these, and it's getting so hard to get back up again! ) Wonderful mix of fall colors.

Scott, This looks wonderful, and it sure captures that fall look. I often think about views like this but seldom capture them. Your comp worked out very nice!

I always enjoy these kind of images and this is no exception, Scott. Great POV and that dappled light really makes those colors come alive. Beautifully done!

Scott: Don't like this one as much as your most recent post but this is still exceptional and would be a welcome addition to my portfolio. Well seen. >=))>
