I like the dappled light across the bird, & the fall colors of the BG Ray.
Cool look back pose, and the wind ruffled feathers add some character..

I like the ruffled feathers, the raised talon and the head turn and pose. The shadow doesn't bother me because it is so soft. Very nice shot.

Very nice shot.
I would try a vertical version, since the bird is looking toward the right, I would remove some of the left area

Interesting pose and light; nice image quality. I'd consider cropping from the left to make this almost square with the direction the hawk is facing.
