WC-609 More Moose?

Well, there certainly is a moose theme going on... so why not add to it?

I recently re-worked an older image in some newer software and kind of liked the result.

Something made me choose to drive home the long-way around on this day, and these guys just happened to be off to the side of the road. Two bull moose, barely beyond Spike Class, very much practicing for future considerations!

Beautiful light here, and I love the close-up look in the larger version.

Looks like we should actually have an official moose theme at some point, judging by all the moose entries! These young bulls seem to be engaging in some serious "play". I like the intent looks on their faces and their battle poses. The backlighting makes for some nice rim lighting around the bulls. A thought would be to crop up a bit from the bottom to get rid of some of OOF bright grass in the foreground. Fortunate find, Karen, and good re-working of this image.

Its all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Love their determined and very serious looks. Nice catch.

I like the eye level perspective and the eye contact between the two combatants. Good image of the action.

Neat sighting and image, Karen. I love these two with their tiny antlers acting like the big boys. I like this nice tight view as presented, but I could see burning in the bottom edge to reduce how much attention it attracts.

Nice catch of these two facing off. I do wish the bush on the right was not covering part of the moose's head. It is a small thing. Agree with darkening or cropping off the bright plants in the front. Thanks for sharing.
