Needless End

While boating on Lake Anna in Virginia this past weekend, we came across this Red-tail hawk that was caught is a fisherman's fishing line which was left behind from being tangled in the trees.
Another needless death because someone does not care about the environment and what dangers they leave behind for wildlife.
If he/she had just taken a few seconds to retrieve his fishing line this Hawk would still be alive today for people to enjoy watching it flying around overhead!
It is tuff to look at, but it is real and it happens everyday
Nature belongs to all of us. We are all part of it! Pick up your trash....and have respect for nature...PERIOD!

For me photo specs does not matter how this lost life was captured!

Well put David,
I am assuming you cleaned this up after taking the image to prevent further tragedy.

Unfortunately, this type of littering and disrespect seems to be growing, not decreasing.
