Here's another one of my attempts at creating a pleasing in-camera multiple exposure flora image. Please let me know what you think of this one.

Canon 5D3
24-105mm f/4L @ 105mm
1/160, f/8, ISO 200

3 exposures combined in-camera

Carol: Another fine effort. I like this as is and also wonder how it would look if the centers were superimposed a bit more precisely. Of course this may have been your intent. If your viewfinder has a grid or other reference points you might try keeping the center on the same point. I also like your BG and think it works really well with the main subject. 2 thumbs up. >=))>

Bill, thanks for your comment. I thought the same thing about the center of the flower, but then was torn because if the center was the same in all three images the layers of petals would not appear so spread out. I'll have to do more experimenting in this area.

I agree that the background in this image is definitely better than the background in my prior post, so I've made a step forward in that regard.

I like this one even better. The bg has a great supporting cast and the soft filmy impression of the bloom is quite pleasing.

I agree with previous comments concerning the centre, Carol, otherwise I like very much the effect you've got with the petals - it seems to emphasise their delicacy. Very lovely whites, too, I might add !!
