Here's the "headwaters" version of a creek icing over. Seems pretty insipid next to the energy in Kane's blue ice but the creeks run low and slow up here in the winter.

Thanks for looking

I like this new season for the headwater series. Seems to me a bolder more brassy mood for the fall. I am enjoying it very much, Continue the story! nicely done. Chet

The cooler tones of the ice mix well with the warmer rocks. Pretty busy macro, but the framing by ice helps to simplify. Some areas of the ice appear a little soft, maybe f16 would help, unless it was your plan to help simplify. I always have difficulty keeping it all sharp unless I stack a few images and blend.

I think the ice framing is a neat addition to the lovely colors and shapes in the water. Won't be long until you only have ice, sadly. Nicely seen, Nancy Lea.

Very nice Nancy, really like the way the ice frames the running water. Excellent light, color and comp.

Very nice colors in this Nancy and you framed it well with the ice. Beautiful ripples in the centre. A very nice addition to your series. Well done.
