Very nice effect. A few more words on what's going on would be appreciated.

I processed this in Lightroom and used Topaz Labs' Adjust plugin to alter the color, giving a softer, more uniform golden glow to the sky and water. I then added a blur layer in PS6 and reduced its opacity so the general shapes of the trees showed through.
Added a subtle vignette to finish

Beautiful abstract form/effect, interesting comment on how you made this happen Durwood.

Very expressive effect, Durwood - reminds me of Turner's watercolour paintings. Like the pano composition and the lighting very much.

I've grown to appreciate this image a little more each time I look at it Durwood. The technique you used is quite effective - thank you for sharing.
