Another Eagle from my recent trip. Hope you don't get too tired of me posting eagles for a while.

This adult took off an flew right at me. Loved this particular wing position.

Canon 5D Mark III
500mm f/4 with 1.4x TC
1/640
f/5.6
ISO 2500
Selective Noise Reduction

Not baited or called in any way.

Very cool shot. I think the background is also very nice. I am a bit torn on the blurred wing tips. Some would say it conveys a sense of motion, which it does. Just can't help wonder what the shot would have looked had a higher shutter speed been used. Regardless, congrats on a fine image.

I like the wing position as well Keith, and also the back light filtering thru the fan of the tail framed by the wings. Great shot.

This is a nice image, Keith. I especially like how the wingtips curl up and the light shines through the tail feathers.

I don't think I've ever had an eagle fly straight at me. Great use of a rare opportunity. The backlighting on the tail is excellent, and the bottom of the power stroke communicates power. Wonderful.

I really like the head on view and the fanned out tail. Very sharp and the eagle really looks nice coming out of the subdued BG. Well done!
