Sedona Redwall

It has been raining and snowing in Arizona for 4 days, but the forecast had the clouds finally breaking up Sunday night. I headed south from Flagstaff to Sedona in hopes that some holes would allow some gap light near sunset. Fortune smiled and treated with a nice combination of light and clouds. A few houses in the lower left corner did meet their demise to the clone tool though.

Wonderful light on the ridges Doug and the clouds resting on the back ridges looks great also. Like the colors and just enough shadow detail. Great image. :toast:

The light here is just perfect Doug. I think you made the right choice to stick around nearby. Never got out myself, but the clouds down here were pretty lack luster at sunset.

Wow! The larger version is a must see to get the true impact of this one. A beautiful scene well captured and 'developed'. No suggestions from me aside from the obligatory 'print it large'!

The pano format works great with this, and the light is grand. Excellent image, Doug.

I love the drama with the clouds and that light striking the rocks is simply superb. As John said " print it large". Wonderful image, Doug.
