Thru the Arch

Not sure if everyone will visualize this like I did, but I decided to post it and see what happens. Another one from the nature area from yesterday. I had stopped and was checking out things and nothing was in the area shown. Then a minute or two later I looked back and here this buck was. He just quietly slipped in and gave this pose of being in charge in this area. I expect he was interested in the doe that is partly into the brush to his right. But I thought it was interesting how he just sort of appeared on the scene. I didn't do too much to this photo. I tried to darken a bit the trees forming the arch and to adjust the contrast so he stood out better from the BG. Other wise just minor tweakings to the sliders to make things more realistic. This is full frame so I could have cropped to make him larger in the image but I like how he shows as a part of the environment but not overpowering things. I like that you don't notice him right off but then he sort of clicks into view. Any comments or critiques are welcome.

Peter, very nice image. I like the placement of the deer in the image.

This is very nice Peter, the buck stands out beautifully in this magical setting. There is some interesting layering of vegetation going front to back in the photo which I quite enjoy. Love the head-on stance and handsome buck.
