Cherry trees in a local park shot early in the morning after a night of light frost, which has almost cleared.

Canon 400D, 18-55mm lens @ 42mm, 1/160 sec @ f14, - 1ev, ISO 400, hh; selective glow in Perfect Effects.

Ian - Nice Autumn scene - specially like the perspective which highlights the trunks and the foliage in right measure. The early morning light add some nice warmth to the scene.

Well composed, Ian. I like the pattern of the shadows going horizontal with the vertical trunks of the trees. The light and olor are calming and tranquil. Very nice!

Very nice use of the warm light, Ian and a well balanced comp. Normally, I don't like to see sky in shots like this, but the sky here is a nice blue which contrasts well with the warm yellows, so I'll make an exception for this one. :wink: My only minor suggestion is to try dodging the shaded foliage on the left (particularly the ULC) to give those areas a bit more light and color. :toast:

Excellent composition Ian with the vertical rhythm of the trunks and the horizontal of the shades. The play of lights and shades makes the photo for me.I love it.
