‘Holly Holy’
Came across this bush (ID help please) walking back to the rig from scouting a river access I had not been to before. It caught my eye because of the way the setting sun had this bush in shadows and had a background tree full of fall colored leaves still brightly illuminated. I tried several shots from several angles and several distances to capture the situation before I lost the BG sunlight all together. This is the one I liked the best. Full Frame, Tripod.

Mike - The bright yellow background really sets off those vibrant red berries (might be Pyracantha). Attractive Frame !

What a great "splash" of color with the sharp red berries and the wonderfully coordinated yellow background. While Pyracantha does have red berries, the leaves look more like Nandina to me.

Definitely Nandina. The leaves are different than Pyracantha, which also has thorns. That said, the background certainly makes this image! A good one, Mike!

Excellent arrangement. I saw this bush with red berries often, but not able to identify it. But the photo is excellent, especially the light and superb contrast against yellow BG. Well done Mike.
