Zimbabwe Sunset

This is an HDR of three bracketed shots from last July in Hwange NP in Zimbabwe. The sunsets while we were there were some of the reddest we've ever seen. I was hoping the elephant herd we had been watching would pass in front of the setting sun but that was not to be, they went behind us so I just got a pretty sunset with no elephants.

Wonderful photo, Joe. Beautiful colors and backlighting on the clouds. I think you rendered the sun just about right. And, for me, it helps to have some of the habitat showing in the FG. Next trip you'll get the elephants in the picture as well.

Really nice, Joe. You handled the dynamic range really well- very natural looking. Wonderful scene even without elephants. ;)

Absolutely dreamy! I don't think the FG does anything for this shot. I would crop to keep just a little green under the trees.

This is a beautiful sunset. I love the dramatic light in the sky and the sun setting among those trees. The foreground looks a bit weird, though.
