I recently captured this very dramatic shot in flight making eye contact me with it's talons on display. I posted the shot a couple of days ago in the Avian forum, but although the shot was quite dramatic, it lacked technically due to the sudden nature of the occurrence taking me off guard exacerbated by the poor lighting. The more I thought about it, I decided to turn it into an art piece with post processing and this is the result. I will also post the original below for those who have not seen it.

Thanks Howard - I now have about 8 versions of the shot - I just can't resist playing with it in that I love the shot just not the technical aspects of it.

Yep, the conversion is a huge improvement (and it looks like a lot of work and a lot of fun). I could see adding just a touch of space on the left, so the tail isn't touching the frame, although that may be challenging because of the wing details at the top.

Mark, I now have about 10 different versions of that shot - I love it so much, but alas, the technicals were a challenge under the rapid occurring happenings. I will be back and get this guy better!!

Thanks so much Lorna - I had to do something to cover up bad technicals!

Thanks Albert, I figured in that it didn't have the kind of focus I expect of my shots, perhaps turning it into an art piece would salvage it!
