Tiger climbing uphill

I'm just back from my workshop in Ranthambhor National park, India. Happened to witness very interesting story there. This young male tiger named Sultan, entered the territory of another tiger, gorged on his kill, but suspecting another tiger around, swiftly returned to his territory, but only after spray marking his presence near the kill.

He is climbing hill towards his own territory.
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views!

Jagdeep,

I find it rather bizarre that 18 people viewed this before me and you received no comments, that's life

This is truly magical, the position on the slope and the raised paw lift this to another level :toast: :toast: :toast:

Typical Ranthanbore habitat, and a fantastic specimen, love the posture/stance. Jagdeep I would just loose the blue cast creeping in, in the whites & rocks, an easy fix. This location is pinnacle of all locations. Great to see them taking over the old palace and where they belong!

A sliver more below would be great, one of the nicest Tiger images posted for a long time. :toast: :toast: :toast:

I agree this is one of the best tiger photos I've seen in a looong time Jagdeep! The setting and diagonal rock and nice soft light makes this pop along with his pose.

Couldn't have agreed more, best Tiger images of lately... That too from the land of Tiger. Love the suspense of staring up hill with raised forepaw. :toast:

Jagdeep, that is a crazy great capture. Though I have no experience with tigers (hopefully soon) I can only imagine that witnessing such a dramatic territorial violation by such a magnificent looking wild male, in natural habitat, and getting this image - would rank at the TOP.

Love the diagonal rock in your composition Jagdeep. Powerful looking cat, out in the open, AND a nice look expression of interest at something up the hill. Very nice! :toast:

Wonderful shot Jagdeep! I love the comp on this one with the diagonal view, raised paw, look in the tiger's eye, the whole thing. This is a very powerful image.
