A very serene, calming shot. I like the placement of the swan. The foreground reflections tell the story of what's going on above. Very nice image. :toast:

I do like the distorted reflections, but I also would like to see an image more closely-cropped on the swan.

Ray I like this ,I did wonder how it would look with some of the bottom but of course that would loose some of that nice cold looking water, its a very good looking image as posted ,very calming.

A wonderfully tranquil image Ray. I would be inclined to crop up from the bottom as Keith suggests, but
I find this comp works as posted. Nice work.

Sweet image, Ray. I'm a bit torn on this one. In the smaller image, I love all that water with the neat vertical reflections in the foreground, but when I opened the larger image it felt like it was a bit too much, so I might be tempted to take just a touch off the bottom, but it's a gorgeous winter scene and very well captured.

Grand shot anyway. Looking at the biggie- a pano crop looks quite interesting.

Thanks all for the comments and critiques, here it is with a some off the bottom. I worked briefly in advertising in the 70's, I suppose I have so much on the bottom of the original so there would be space for copy.

I think the re-post is slightly better for general viewing, but I really like your original post for it's artistic feel. Love those reflections.

I'm leaning slightly toward the original. I like the fact that the the swan is more off-center. Love the foreground reflection and I see no problem in keeping more of it in the frame.

Not sure which one I like best. They are both excellent shots. I expect it was nice experience making this shot.
