This photograph was taken in the Big Bend area of Zion Canyon and, unlike the previous post, was not arranged. It's more difficult I think to find and make a composition of this subject matter that is as it was found, because the pools and puddles where the oil collects are so small and the chance is even smaller that a leaf will just happen to fall to a photogenic spot in a photogenic pool or puddle that will result in a good composition.

Very impressive work, Jim. The color palette from the oils is beautiful and contrasts nicely with the muted brown tones in the leaf.

Another beauty Jim! On the other hand, the first image set's an unbelievably high bar and I prefer it. (I have no problem with arranging as you did in the prior photo, but appreciate when it is noted by the photog.)
