After a good rainfall last week, we had a very green canyon with wild flowers blooming everywhere. Always appreciate the C&C.

Wow!
Be nice if you were more forthcoming about where this is.

Sorry about not mentioning the location... this is in Waimea Canyon, Kauai about 14 miles up Waimea Canyon Road. I had to venture off the path a little to get this pic.

Nice, rich colors and good layering into the distance. Also looks good without the sky. How many images for DOF?

Ronald, I used four exposures for depth of field through to falls and a separate exposure for sky. I only forgot to focus for the lower corners... oh well, next time. Thanks for the nice comments.

Looks nice, Daniel. I also like it without the sky. The light on the canyon wall really adds to this one.

Beautiful Daniel! Love the variety and colors. I agree with Preston that this would work without the sky as well.

Oh the lantana...so pretty yet so invasive. Hope you enjoyed the last storm. Missed it!

Wonderful lush scene. The waterfall really adds some personality here.

The Lantana in the foreground add a very nice splash of bright color to pull the eye in. They aren't native to Hawaii, and are an invasive species. But, they sure are pretty. A very nice image.

Thank you all for the nice comments. I processed this photo with my nephew, a graphic arts major in college right now in an effort to teach him some of the limited PS skills I have learned over the last few months. It was good reinforcement for me and a good introduction for him. His artistic eye was certainly helpful in pointing out some aesthetic improvements in my processing. Lantana... yes, it is a problem among many other plants and pests on Kauai, but I only mean to capture beauty through my photography and art regardless of its origin... no messages intended. thanks again.

I was there once, but I don't think that my shots were as good as this. Nice composition and very nice compilation of the two images.
