A 4 vertical image stitched panorama, looking upstream on the Tsaina River valley about 33 miles Northeast of Valdez. The valley was in the shadows but the sun was still shining on the mountain peaks.

Very nice Gary, the whites look spectacular.. Love the pano comp too.

How beautiful! A very picturesque winter scene with the sunlit mountains and snow-covered trees. You found a great comp of this valley, Gary. I like the way the color of the sky blends right in with the colors throughout the scene. But I also like how the white sunlit mountains (and dark pine trees) provide a pleasing break in the more monochromatic color scheme of the rest of the scene. Great image for a pano. :smile:

It would be difficult to find a photo that says "winter" better than this. Nicely composed and the exposure is spot on. That's got to be a lot of snow.

This is a lovely look at a very snowy landscape. The light on the mountains in the distance is terrific.
