Miss Libby

This is our rescued 14 year old kitty, Libby, who loves to set at the window and observe a lizard on the outside. I thought the light from the window reflecting on her beautiful green eyes made a beautiful portrait. 55mm, f9, 1/10 ISO 3200

Not your typical portrait framing, but it works for me Scott.
I like the story behind the shot (it explains those rectangular catchlights), and any dedicated lizard watcher's a friend of mine

Howard:

It was an unusual angle, but I liked it. I struggled a bit whether to crop it with less tail and more face, but I left it basically the way I captured it. And as a bonus, I have some great lizard shooting around my house!

Beautiful kitty! Looks to be the twin of my old cat Pat. Do you mind if I post a pic of him here?
