I wasn't out to shoot landscapes or produce art. I was on a great bird photography session at one of the best places in the country at the best time of the day - Circle B Reserve in Lakeland, FL at sunset. Now I tend to see faces in things so forgive me if you think I am nuts, but as I looked out through this window of trees at sunset, I immediately conjured up the shape of a face in my mind. If you don't see it, the face sports a goatee depicted by green foliage in the lower right. As you continue up the picture along the highlighted area, you come to a mouth and then a button nose sticking out. The face continues up to the eye, forehead, and perhaps the brim of a cap protruding. At the top, the crown of the head is rounded from right to left and finally works down the left side of the picture to the subject's neck. Of course this can be used as a Rorschach test and you might imagine something totally different or say, "Why did this guy waste space with this abomination?"
I approached it as a quick snap shot in that my time was rapidly running out for what turned out to be one of the most productive half hours of shooting I have ever had (with perhaps the exception of this photo

).
Shot with a Canon 70D, Canon 100-400 mm L lens at 100mm, f8, 1/400 ISO 100
Don't be cruel!

But many times I tend to over-simplify issues
Cool post & best wishes for a great new year, Merry Christmas!
