I've posted the color version of this before several years back, but I was just fooling around tonight and thought I would try converting it to B&W.

Please check out LARGER version for better detail.

I would love to hear your thoughts and critiques.

Very nice Bill, don't remember the color version, but this definitely has a nice appeal, beautiful tones and composition, and very enjoyable to view, makes me want to get out and roam the fields, guess that will have to wait till spring. Love it, very well done.

Nice detail. Looks like a pencil sketch. The b&w gives this a hint of mystery. To me, it feels like a secret waiting to be told. Most intriguing.

Bill, I like your b&w conversion with this image. It really is quite interesting to view and works even better in the larger version. I too think it has that pencil sketch look and I always find that quite appealing. Happy Holidays!

This sure is interesting and feels like a very novel look. The details in larger version add considerably. I have to admit to not being sure that I like it, but the novelty and starkness keeps me coming back and looking again.
