This is a very effective and attractive photo Mario. The lighting is very dramatic and the brightest and therefore the area with the primary focus, is that right eye. Good job recognizing the opportunity and pressing the shutter at the right moment. The dynamic range is extensive but there is still acceptable detail on the shaded side of the jackal. Trying to lighten the shadows because that would even out the exposure would have been the absolute wrong thing to do imho. Good job using the trail as a leading line to take the eye to the subject.

The single well-lit eye makes for a strong feeling of drama!
