Happy New Year! to everyone

Clearlake in Northern California is full of grebes - Western, earred, and Clark's.
There were hundreds of each on the lake after a recent major hatching of some kind of little bug. They couldn't gobble them down fast enough.

Hello Sandy

Well captured with great timing to get the reflection and head so well positioned.

Nicely timed, Sandy. The pic. conveys a good feeling of forward motion and mild urgency. I'm not sure about the cropped off 'wake' - perhaps include a fair bit more to further accentuate the contrast between the rightmost portion and the main feature of the composition.
