Indeed, a very peaceful looking drake. However, he is paying attention with that opened eye. Wonderful comp., Sharon. Great detail in the feathers, a wonderful color palette and you magically made the horizon line disappear. Well done.

Only thing I wish for in this image is more room on the left and perhaps a touch less on the right. You could make this happen via photoshop fairly easily I'm sure. The low angle is key and nice to see the eye
