So, five minutes ago I was looking at your last Junco shot, and my comment was going to be "why don't you take one in the snow". and here it is...... I like this one a lot better. The lower angle is an improvement too.

Quite an improvement, John. I like the snowy bg that we haven't gotten much of this winter (not that I'm wishing for it). If you can arrange a little less of an angle you should be able to get a better eye reflection. These birds can produce some very photogenic head turns.

A very nice capture of this tiny bird John. I agree capturing it in the snow is a nice alternative to the usual grass BG. Very well done, only wish there was a little catch light in the eye.
