Great Shoot! I project all sorts of human emotions into both of these characters. The whimsey, cooperation, ….like the odd couple. And so comfortable …the heron on one leg… As if they do this routine every morning. Super.

A wonderful shot and good timing to get this. What an interesting combination. I would have expected to see a smaller bird on a hippo but not a heron (I think it is a heron?) I like the shadow of the bird and if the bird was facing towards you it would of really added to the overall image. Way to go.
